OFFICIAL: Red Bull Salzburg has completed the signing of Stefan Bajcetić

Liverpool defensive midfielder Stefan Bajcetić has completed his transfer to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg on a season-long loan deal. He will reunite with former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Ljinders, the current manager of RB Salzburg.

Barcelona were also keen on the talented Spaniard but could not make a move due to Financial Fair Play concerns. The 19-year-old is expected to garner more regular minutes and also participate in the Champions League which will offer him an additional level of exposure.

The Spaniard will return to Anfield following his loan spell with the Austrian side.
