OFFICIAL: Rafa Mir returns to his boyhood club Valencia

Rafa Mir has completed his transfer to La Liga giants Valencia on loan from Sevilla with an option to make the deal permanent next summer. The 27-year-old attacker spent the last three seasons with Sevilla, having signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2021.

A statement from Valencia read: “The striker, trained in our Academy, arrives on loan until the end of the season and Valencia will have a purchase option.“

Mir came through the Valencia academy and was part of the 2014-15 youth team when he scored 21 goals during the season. Since leaving Valencia in the summer of 2018, the Spaniard a three-year spell with Wolves in the Premier League.
