OFFICIAL: Billy Koumetio completes his permanent move to Dundee

The 21-year-old defender has finally sealed his permanent move to Scottish Premiership side Dundee after a difficult series of loans with Austria Wien, USL Dunkerque and Blackburn over the last few years.

Billy Koumetio joined Liverpool’s academy from Orleans FC in 2018 and has managed to make only two senior appearances for the Reds since then. He has joined Dundee on an initial two-year deal with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

Koumetio becomes the fifth notable departure for Liverpool following the free transfers of Adrian, Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip.
