Nottingham Forest Push for Milenković Signing

Nottingham Forest have taken a notable step in their summer transfer campaign with an official proposal already being sent to Fiorentina for centre-back Nikola Milenković.

The club has tabled a £13 million bid for the Serbian international who is highly regarded for his defensive skill set.

Negotiations are ongoing and are expected to be challenging but Forest remains optimistic about finalizing the deal by next week. Milenković who played in all three of Serbia’s group matches at the European Championship is set to undergo a medical at the City Ground should talks progress smoothly.

This move comes in response to the departures of key defender Scott McKenna and the potential exit of former captain Joe Worrall.

Forest’s manager Nuno Espírito Santo is now also keen on signing an attacking option as he felt the need after a friendly win against Chesterfield.

Nuno highlighted the urgent need for additional wingers pointing out that the only natural wingers currently at the club are Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga.
