Nottingham Forest push for Eddie Nketiah deal with Arsenal
With the transfer window is still opening, Nottingham Forest trying to use the opportunity to sign more players to strengthen their squad. The target is Arsenal’s forgotten forward Edde Nketiah. It is not the first time the London-born player was close to leaving Emirates Stadium.
During the summer season break, Nketiah has agreed on personal terms to join the French side Marseille. However, Arsenal blocked the deal as the offer did not meet the club’s expectations.
David Ornstein from The Athletic wrote that Arsenal just rejected the £25 million offer from Forest, but talks are proceeding. The Gunners expected Forest to meet their £30/35 million price tag to bring Nketiah to City Ground.
