Newcastle United plot third bid for Crystal Palace star

Newcastle United have launched a third bid for Marc Guehi as they look to bolster their squad. The Magpies had a £50 million offer rejected by Crystal Palace last week.

As per a report in Sky Sports, Eddie Howe’s side are desperate to add the former Chelsea star to their squad before the season kicks off. They have now made an improved bid for the center-back and are pushing to bring him to St James Park.

Liverpool were also linked with the defender, while Chelsea are also keeping tabs on their academy product. They also have a sell-on clause in his contract and are set for a transfer windfall.
