Michael Olise joins Bayern Munich on a five-year contract

After spending three years with Crystal Palace, Michael Olise has agreed to join Bayern Munich on a five-year deal. From playing for a mid-table club to signing for the Bundesliga’s record league winners is going to be a big step forward for the England-born footballer.

Bayern announced in their official statement that Olise will be given a five-year contract which will be valid until 30 June 2029. Through the club’s board member Max Eberl, Olise is expected to give a new dimension to Die Roten’s gameplay under Vincent Kompany.

Olise himself admitted that he was thrilled with the opportunity to join Bayern. The winger will also regroup with fellow Englishman, Harry Kane, who has been scoring for fun in his debut season with Bayern in the Bundesliga.
