Mesut Ozil sends message of support towards Tottenham ahead of Manchester City clash
With Arsenal sitting at the top of table, the Gunners have only one game left in their Premier League season but the same doesn’t apply to Manchester City. Because of the FA Cup, the Cityzens have a game in hand which means they have two games before their season is over. It does give the upper hand in the title race especially as they only sit a point behind Arsenal.
However, Manchester City face Tottenham and West Ham United in their final two games, and ahead of their clash against Spurs it has seen many fans flock towards the Lillywhites. Not Tottenham fans but Arsenal fans, hoping that their cross-town rivals could do them a favour by beating the Manchester giants. So much so, that fans have come out in hordes with tweets supporting the North Londoners.

That includes now as well with Ozil tweeting a show of support towards Tottenham. He also admitted that he would never tease the North Londoners if they beat Manchester City, something that he has done in the past.
“First time ever tonight: COME ON YOU SPURSSS!!! If Tottenham don’t lose this game I will never make fun of them again…..I promise,” Ozil’s tweet read on X (formerly known as Twitter).
