Manchester United are working on a permanent exit for Donny van de Beek

The 27-year-old Dutch midfielder will be keen for an exit this summer after a disastrous four-year spell with Manchester United since joining the club from Ajax back in the summer of 2020.

Van de Beek spent the second half of the last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt but he managed to play only 357 minutes of football, struggling to register an assist or a goal. He was left out of the Netherlands Euro 2024 squad after another frustrating year with United.

The midfielder has just one year remaining on his current deal and United will be hopeful to get something out of the £35million they spent for Donny van de Beek back in 2020.

If no suitors are found, the club would be better off letting the midfielder for a dirt-cheap price to get his £100,000/week wages off the books. Van de Beek is only 27 but his contract situation is steering off some of the potential suitors according to Manchester Evening News.
