Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Matthijs de Ligt
The Red Devils have reportedly agreed on a five-year contract with Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt who has been United’s top defensive target in this summer window.
The Dutchman has fallen out of favour at the German club as he started only 16 Bundesliga games last season. During his spell at Ajax, De Ligt was regarded as one of the highly-outed young defenders but has seen his stock fallen since joining Bayern from Juventus in the summer of 2022.
Erik ten Hag is in the market for two central defenders and it appears an agreement is in place with Bayern Munich but are reportedly asking £42.5 million for the outcasted defender according to GIVEMESPORT.
