Manchester United keen on signing Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana

The Red Devils are reportedly aiming to hijack AC Milan’s move for Youssouf Fofana, who has been identified as a potential replacement for Scott McTominay this summer. The Scottish midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Craven Cottage.

Despite Fofana’s priority to join the Rossoneri, Manchester United are keen to match Monaco’s asking price of £30 million for the French midfielder, who has entered the final year of his contract.

AC Milan are unwilling to match Monaco’s asking price and no agreement has been reached with both parties. Fofana has also rejected other club approaches as he prefers a move to Milan this summer
