Manchester United have swap-deal offer rejected by Barcelona

Manchester United have reportedly had an audacious offer for Frenkie de Jong rejected. Barcelona were given the chance to sign Antony in exchange for the Dutch midfielder.

As per a report in Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils tried to make a swap deal as they were not in a position to offer cash due to FFP and PSR issues. They are keen on landing the midfielder and the winger is available for transfer as after Jadon Sancho amended things with Erik ten Hag.

Barcelona are open to letting de Jong move to Manchester United, but are not interested in bringing in the Brazilian winger.
