Manchester City considering a move for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze
The Cityzens are weighing up a move for Crystal Palace man Eberechi Eze, who has three years left on his current deal at Selhurst Park. City consider the Englishman a valuable long-term addition to their star-studded squad.
Kevin de Bruyne, who attracted heavy interest in this summer window from Saudi Arabia has confirmed his stay at the Etihad, but could leave the club as a free agent next summer. Guardiola reportedly sees Eze as a potential replacement for the Belgian midfielder.
Eze holds a release clause of £60m which could go up to £70m with add-ons included. But, Palace will be reluctant to sell the Englishman after already losing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich this summer.
