Manchester City close in on Divin Mubama

Manchester City are reportedly close to signing Divin Mubama, reported transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X. The 19-year-old forward had been in talks with Olympique Lyon and Famalicao, but City swooped in and hijacked the move as Romano has stated that the Sky Blues feel he is a homegrown player who could develop under their wings.

Mubama came through the ranks at West Ham United before breaking into their senior team in 2022. After only six appearances in his debut campaign, the Englishman made 12 in the next, doubling his gametime as Mubama proved to be a vital option for the Hammers. He will now be in Manchester with the option of going on loan next year.
