Man United vs Fulham Preview, Prediction, Odds and Betting Tips
Date: 24 February, Saturday
Kick-off Time: 3:00 PM (GMT)
Stadium: Old Trafford
Man United vs Fulham Preview:
Manchester United vs Fulham will kick-off on a hot Saturday afternoon as Man United will look to build on their sensational form and win their 5th consecutive game. After a poor start, United have responded well and gone on to win seven games out of the last ten. The Red Devils under Erik ten Hag have found solace in Rasmus Højlund who has peaked at the right time. The Danish striker has scored seven goals in his last six league appearances and is threatening to break age-old records. The Danish youngster has also been aided well by Argentinian Alejandro Garnacho. However, Højlund will miss the field against Fulham due to a muscle injury.
Meanwhile, Fulham find themselves struggling to find consistency. The club from greater London has managed to win only three games in their last ten outings. Furthermore, Fulham have managed to keep only two clean sheets in the last 10 games. Marco Silva’s men seem to have been working on their defense, but the results haven’t been evident on the pitch. A leaky defense on Saturday afternoon could prove costly against the in-form Red Devils. While their position in the middle of the table seems safe at the moment, Fulham needs to buck up fast.

Man United vs Fulham Team News:
Man United:
Manchester United’s commitment to their new-found resolve to keep winning is inspiring. Last weekend, the club struggled against Luton Town, but found the goals to emerge victorious. Rasmus was the man of the match, scoring both goals for United in the 2-1 win over Luton. However, a long list of injuries continues to overshadow the club’s future.
Manchester United will enter the contest at Old Trafford without the services of left-back Tyrell Malacia. He was expected to return to the squad in February, but after setbacks, he will be out till further notice. Mason Mount will also remain on the sidelines with his calf injury for a few more weeks. Continuing the trend of facing setbacks and sustaining new injuries in training, Aaron Wan-Bissaka faced another injury in training. He will be out till the end of the month, at least. Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund also sustained an injury recently, and he is unlikely to feature against Fulham.
Lisandro Martinez finally returned to the squad after a long absence and picked up another injury in early February which will rule him out till March. Striker Anthony Martial’s pelvic injury will sideline him till April.
Fulham:
Fulham marked their poor campaign till now with yet another 1-2 loss to Aston Villa last weekend. Their defensive issues continue to haunt them and have only worsened. On Saturday, they’re bound to struggle even more in the absence of Joao Palhinha.
The Portuguese national earned himself a yellow card in the tie against Aston Villa. Since that was his 10th yellow card of the season, Joao will be suspended for the match against United via accumulation of yellow cards. Apart from Joao Palhinha, only Raul Jiminez is expected to miss the game. The striker suffered a thigh injury earlier this month and is sidelined till April. Kenny Tete and Armando Broja are expected to make the squad in time after recovering from their respective issues.
