Liverpool yet to offer a new contract to Virgil Van Dijk
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk who has entered the final year of his contract has been offered newer terms by the Merseyside giants. The Dutchman will go out of contract following the 2024/25 season.
Following the 4-1 win against Sevilla, Virgil Van Dijk who returned from a three-week post the European Championship confirmed there is no movement yet on his contract extension.
“There is no change at the moment,” he said.
The Dutchman has been one of the most instrumental figures in Liverpool’s resurgence under Jurgen Klopp in recent years yet there has been no progress in contract talks.
