Liverpool 2-0 Manchester City Player Ratings as Mo Salah scores and assists as Slot’s men extend their lead to nine points at the top

Liverpool hosted Manchester City at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday, December 1, and secured a comfortable 2-0 win against their rivals.

Cody Gakpo handed the Reds the perfect start as he latched onto Mohamed Salah’s pass to make it 1-0 after just 12 minutes on the clock. Manchester City had no reply for that in the first period as they managed just one off-target shot.

Both managers made multiple changes for the second half, but City simply could not find their mojo. Stefan Ortega then conceded a penalty by fouling Luis Diaz, which Salah stepped up to convert and send Liverpool two goals clear.

The Reds held on to secure the win, and on that note, here are the player ratings.
