He has one of the best records against Man City, registering 11 goals and six assists in the last 19 games against Pep Guardiola’s men.
LW: Julian Alvarez (Man City) – The World Cup winner can play in any position in the front three, even with Jeremy Doku or Luis Diaz flying high with their respective left-wing positions. Alvarez’s influence on City continues to grow and his current form makes a strong case to cement a role in the starting XI on Sunday afternoon.
ST: Erling Haaland (Man City) – This was a battle between Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland but we know who will be the straightforward pick for our Liverpool vs Man City combined XI. The Norwegian has netted 18 goals in 22 appearances, displaying his astounding consistency in domestic league play.
