Silverware in the Jurgen Klopp’s Tenure: What are the Liverpool Trophies under Klopp?

The Merseyside Reds have gone through a managerial transition recently. While the Scousers were worried about a below-average performance, their high expectations were met by the current manager Arne Slot. From managing the tight fixtures to bringing in quality results, it seems like the club have made the right decision after the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

Speaking of whom, the ex-Liverpool manager had made sure to rile the crowd up for a warm welcome on his last day at the club with the famous “Arne Slot! La La Laa La La” chant.

When it comes to the League title, Liverpool had a fair share of ‘sloppy stories’ and draught. It was a 30 years of wait that finally came to an end. And it came in the most beautiful way. While there is no other club that have reached the levels of Manchester City and their dominance, it was Liverpool who have thrown fierce competition to the Sky Blues.

It was the 2019-20 season when the games were being closed doors; the Reds have won the Premier League after 30 years. They were 18 points clear of Manchester City, a club that is facing 115 financial breach charges.

Carabao Cup (2021/22)

If there is one thing that the Scousers will remember for years, it was the passion that Jurgen brought along with his drive to dig deep especially when it is needed. One such display was there in the 2021-22 Carabao Cup final.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea were in a gruelling clash. The final at the Wembley Stadium seen both of the clubs going to penalties. An inspired Kelleher converted his spot kick while Kepa missed horribly.

FA Cup (2021/22)

While the Liverpool were inspired to win the quadruple that year, they only won two after last day Premier League drama seen City take the lead and a Vinicius Jr. goal that stole the dream away from the Reds to win the Champions League.

They met with Chelsea in the FA Cup in the Wembley Stadium once again. And the result was the same again this time with the Reds having another win over Chelsea.

Community Shield (2022)

While the Reds missed their chance to win the league title, they had their chance to take another trophy from the Man City. It is exactly what they did in 2022. Facing the champions of the League in King Power Stadium, the match seen the result of Liverpool 3-1 Man City.

Carabao Cup (2023/24)

It was no no-brainer that during his tenure, there was always an issue with the finances when it came to buying new players. However, efficiency both on and off the pitch from the German tactician had allowed him to win so many trophies.

Liverpool finished a breathless Carabao Cup final against Chelsea. The thing that is the testament of Klopp’s expertise is that they won it with half of the outfield players who were aged 21 or under.

The now Liverpool captain Van Dijk slotted the knockout blow in the extra-time that saw the Reds lift another trophy. Earlier that month, Jurgen had announced his departure. His team had made sure that he left as a Champion.

On his arrival, Jurgen mentioned that it is not what people think when you come in, it is what they think when you leave. Safe to say, Every Scousers were sad but none was angry at his decision. In Klopp, they believed! In Klopp, they have won! As for Jurgen, He will never walk alone!
