Liverpool star Luis Diaz has reportedly made a decision to join Barcelona this summer amid interest from the club as well as PSG. The Catalans are looking to reinforce their squad with two or three players following what’s been a disappointing campaign, and have the winger’s position on priority.

According to Spanish news outlet SPORT, Diaz is keen to join the La Liga giants, who have been linked with the Colombian lately. But his price tag could be a hinderance in their pursuit, as Liverpool value Diaz at a staggering range of €120 million to €145 million, as reported by Colombian outlet, El Heraldo.

Diaz is also reportedly wanted by PSG, who are looking for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe as the Frenchman prepares to depart Parc des Princes this summer. However, it’s worth noting that Diaz’s move to Barcelona isn’t official yet, with neither the player nor the club confirming anything at the moment.

It maybe because the Colombian winger is focused on ending the season with Liverpool strongly. His contract runs until 2027 and has been key to their fortunes this whole campaign.

Diaz having his best season with Liverpool

With 13 goals in all competitions, this has been Luis Diaz’s best season with Liverpool so far. Having joined in January 2022, the Colombian managed six goals in his first six months, but better things were expected in the 2022-23 campaign, his first-full season with the Reds. However, Diaz managed only five goals in 21 games as injuries hampered his time on the field. This time around, the 27-year-old has not only managed to keep himself fit, but also produce his best form, scoring 13 goals and registering a further four assists, despite largely playing as a substitute.
