Liverpool eye move for €120 million star

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing João Neves from Benfica. The Portuguese star has a €120 million release clause and the Primeira Liga outfit have no plans to negotiate a fee.

As per a report in Correio da Manhã, the 19-year-old is now a part of Arne Slot’s wish list and Liverpool are working on getting the deal over the line. They do face competition from Manchester United and Manchester City, while PSG are also said to be interested in signing the midfielder.

Liverpool star Diogo Jota has already made his thoughts clear on the teenager and told GOAL: “João Neves has the quality and the mindset to go really far.”
