Leicester City’s new manager Steve Cooper to give a chance to 21-year-old striker before club considers loan move: Report
According to ‘The Telegraph’, Leicester City’s manager Steve Cooper is willing to give an opportunity to 21-year-old striker Tom Cannon to impress in the pre-season leading up to the new Premier League campaign. Cooper wants to have a look at the player, before the Foxes consider a loan move for the player, and make any decision on his future.
Tom Cannon has been garnering interest in the summer transfer window. EFL Championship side, Stoke City reportedly holds significant interest in him.
But as Leicester’s decision stands, Cannon might be staying at the Midlands-based club for the time being. The 2023-24 season was majorly marked by injury issues for the 21-year-old forward and he also struggled to get into the plans of Foxes’ previous manager Enzo Maresca.
