Steve Cooper’s Leicester City set to announce new signing from Chelsea – Reports

Making a return to the Premier League, Leicester City will soon be announcing their new midfielder Michael Golding’s signing from league rivals Chelsea. As per a report from ‘Football Insider’, The Foxes have concluded a final agreement with the Blues for the player.

Michael Golding was reportedly serving the last year of his running contract at the Stamford Bridge. He has now penned a four-year deal with the East Midlands-based Leicester City.

Golding earned his debut for Chelsea in the 2023-24 FA Cup clash against Preston North End. The player is touted to be highly raked by the Blues’ hierarchy. The 18-year-old played 26 matches for Chelsea’s under-21 side in the 2023-24 campaign.
