Leicester City leading the race for David Datro Fofana

The French striker is expected to leave Stamford Bridge on his third loan spell in the space of a year. The 21-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Union Berlin, where he bagged two goals and one assist before spending the second half on loan at Burnley where he managed only four goals in 15 games.

Datro Fofana is now expected to make a move to Leicester City who are leading the race to sign the striker on loan with an obligation to buy clause be included in the deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Datro Fofana’s Chelsea career would be over in the next few weeks.
