Leicester City keen to sign Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson
New Premier League entrants Leicester City are interested in signing Arsenal outcast Reiss Nelson, who made 24 appearances for the Gunners last season and managed only one goal. He is currently traveling with the Arsenal squad for the pre-season tour in the United States.
Foxes manager Steve Cooper is eager to reunite with Nelson as the duo worked together in England’s youth teams. Cooper handed Nelson his debut in an England shirt when he was in charge of the U-16s squad.
Nelson is way down the pecking order at Arsenal and Foxes are keen to sign the forward on a loan deal with an obligation to make the deal permanent next season.
