Leicester City confirm the signing of Chelsea midfielder Michael Golding

Premier League outfit Leicester City has reportedly confirmed the signing of Chelsea’s midfielder Michael Golding. The 18-year-old England-born player will represent the Foxes from the 2024-25 season onwards.

The potential transfer fee involved in the youngsters’ move to Leicester City, is termed to be about £4 million (as reported by ‘Chelsea News’). The midfielder has reportedly penned a four-year contract at the Foxes running till June 2028. Michael Golding has played most of his football so far for Chelsea Under-21, Under-18, and Youth setup. He has also represented England and Ireland at the Youth level.

He is highly thought of by English fans and does come across as an exciting prospect. It will be interesting to find out whether Foxes’ manager Steve Cooper drafts him into the first team straight away or not.
