Lazio vs Bayern Munich Player Ratings as Ciro Immobile seizes advantage for hosts following Dayot Upamecano’s red card

Bayern Munich’s poor run of form continued as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Lazio in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg on Wednesday, February 14. Ciro Immobile’s 69th-minute penalty was enough to give the Italian side an advantage going into the second leg.

Bayern came into the game on the back of a 3-0 defeat against Bundesliga title rivals Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend. They didn’t show much improvement against Lazio as they failed to get even one shot on target (as per Sofascore).

To add salt to injuries, centre-back Dayot Upamecano was sent off in the 67th minute after receiving a straight red card.

The second leg will take place at the Allianz Arena on March 5.
