Las Palmas scored twice in the final minutes of the LaLiga match to seal a 2-0 win over Valencia on Saturday. The win helped them go ahead of their opponents in the table, but only on goal difference as they are level on points.
Las Palmas Player Ratings:
Alvaro Valles | 7 – The goalkeeper had to make just two saves in the game and did not have much to do. He faced just one shot from inside the box and was more of a spectator in the game.
Alex Suarez | 8 – The defender scored in the 89th minute of the game to get them the much-deserved win against Valencia. His header was on target, towards the far corner and out of the reach of Mamardashvili despite the goalkeeper’s height.
Saul Coco | 6.5 – The center-back was just needed to recycle the ball in the whole game as Valencia were poor in attack. Moreover, Las Palmas had 73% possession and the defender was responsible for more of it.
Mika Marmol | 7 – Similar to Coco, Marmol was also needed to just recycle the ball. However, he was called into action once and he managed to block a shot with ease.
Sergi Cardona | 8 – The left-back spent most of the time in the opposition half and was playing more like a left winger. He did not commit a single foul and was rock solid in the game.
Marvin Park | 6 – The right-winger had nothing much to do in the game and was unable to create the chances needed.
Javier Munoz | 7 – The midfielder was playing deep and moved towards the right wing to help with the possession for Park and Suarez.
Maximo Perrone | 7 – The midfielder played between the two center-backs for most of the game, and that allowed his fullbacks to attack. He finished the game with 91% pass success and had 80 touches in the match.
Kirian Rodriguez | 8 – The best player from the home side was easily their captain, Kirian. He was making the most of the possession he had and was also winning his duels with ease.
Munir El Haddadi | 6 – The former Barcelona youngster was trying his best to get the goals for Las Palmas but failed to get anything on target.
Sandro Ramirez | 7 – The striker was playing more as a winger in the game as he was spending most of the time on the pitch on the left flank. He got one shot in the whole game, but it was off-target.
Alberto Moleiro | 6 – The winger was causing a lot of issues for the Valencia defence and making the most of his runs on the flank.
Enzo Loiodice | 5.5 – Introduced in the 80th minute, Enzo did not have manage to do anything special in the match.

Giorgi Mamardashvili | 5 – The goalkeeper managed to make just one save in the game and made an error leading to a goal. He couldn’t do much for the first goal but fumbled a simple cross that led to the second goal.
Dimitri Foulquier | 7 – The right-back had his work cut out as Perez was not helping him on the flank. He did most of the work on the right side and did well in both phases.
Cristhian Mosquera | 6.5 – Even though Valencia conceded twice late in the game, he was one of the bright sparks for them. He was rock solid in defence and managed to keep Sandro Ramis quiet in the game.
Cenk Ozkacar | 6 – He held his own in defense and was one of the reasons why Valencia did not concede a lot on Saturday.
Jose Gaya | 5.5 – The Spaniard was the worst defender on the pitch as he was getting beaten at every chance. He could not do anything to help the attack and was nowhere in defense.
Fran Perez | 6 – The winger was not great and only managed to complete one dribble in the table. He misplaced most of his passes and was unable to get out of his own half.
Hugo Guillamon | 6 – Easily one of the weak links in the Valencia side and a key reason why they could not get going in the match. He played the full game but was losing possession continuously.
Pepelu | 8 – The only Valencia player who managed to make an impact in the game and try to get them going. He ran the midfield but was not getting any help from those around him.
Javier Guerra | 6 – The winger had nothing much to do in the game as Las Palmas dominated possession.
Hugo Duro | 7 – He played 86 minutes and was the best attacker for Valencia. They lost all their strength in the attack when he left the pitch, went on to concede twice in the last minutes, and lost the match.
