Kevin De Bruyne Agrees Saudi Move
Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is set for a surprising switch to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad. TEAMtalk reports that the Belgian midfielder has verbally agreed to personal terms with the Saudi club.
Representatives from Al Ittihad and Saudi’s PIF fund have met with De Bruyne and his agents and the player has reportedly given his approval for the transfer.
With only 12 months left on his contract, Manchester City are inclined to sell him now rather than risk losing him for free next year.
Despite injury issues, De Bruyne was pivotal for City last season, contributing six goals and 18 assists in 26 appearances. His departure will necessitate a significant replacement for the Premier League champions as they prepare for the upcoming season.
