Kepa Arrizabalaga ready to lower his wage demands to sanction Real Madrid move
Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga spent the last season on loan at Real Madrid and made a decent start to the campaign before losing the spot to the club’s second-choice goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Kepa made 20 appearances for the Galacticos and won La Liga and the Champions League in the process.
There has been uncertainty over Lunin’s future at Santiago Bernabeu as he demands more playing time and will leave if a substantial offer is made. Kepa has only one year left on his Chelsea contract and he would be a perfect backup for Thibaut Courtois.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spaniard is given full priority in case Lunin departs this summer. Kepa is highly motivated and has no issues in being the second-choice goalkeeper.
