“AL-Ittihad is not the same team (Real Madrid)” – Karim Benzema hits out at his team mates holding them responsible for his poor form
Karim Benzema’s goal scoring touch has been gradually decreasing with Saudi outfit Al-Ittihad. The last time Benzema scored a goal was at the end of March against Al-Fayha. The French forward has now blamed his teammates for not supporting him enough.

This is not something Benzema is used to. When playing for Madrid he was one of the most prolific strikers in the world. He also won Ballon d’Or in 2022, the first player to win apart from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo since Luka Modric won back in 2018.
“It’s because it’s not the same game,” he said via TalkSport. “It’s not the same players, I need to be helped. I need help on the pitch. I can’t win the game alone. I need a lot of things.”
