Jose Mourinho wants Barcelona star at Fenerbahce

Jose Mourinho has reportedly asked Fenerbahce to sign Ilkay Gundogan from Barcelona. The new manager wants to sign the veteran to bolster his midfield this summer.

As per a report in SPORT, Gundogan is the latest name on Mourinho’s wish list. He believes that the former Manchester City star can help him bring leadership to the pitch and ease things out.

Barcelona are said to be open to a sale and have slapped a €15 million price tag on him. The 33-year-old was a key player under Xavi last season, but things are still being sorted under Hanso Flick at the Catalan club.
