John Cena reveals European football club he would support
One of the most famous wrestlers in the world, John Cena revealed the football club from Europe he would support. As reported in football.london, the WWE legend appeared in a talk show named “talkSport’ hosted by Shebahn Aherne, where he disclosed the name.
The 47-year-old was asked by Aherne if he supports any football team from the United Kingdom, be it from England’s first division EPL or Scotland’s Premier division Championship.
Replying to this question, the 16-time world champion said that many claim that he is a Tottenham Hotspur fan while some say he supports Chelsea, but in reality, he is trying to understand the game, and it’s rivalries and so he is still searching for a team to support.
He further said that if someone pitches well about a particular club, he might support them.
To this reply the presenter, who was Scottish, pitched about Scotland’s premier division champions Glasgow Celtic. On hearing a marvelous pitch from the presenter, Cena seemed impressed and said he would keep Celtic above the other clubs on his list as the pitch was nice and also because he hails from Boston, and their football team is also known as the Celtics.
Hearing the legendary wrestler-rapper-actor’s reply, many Premier League and Championship fans started commenting to showcase their club’s case before Cena. One of the Tottenham Hotspur fans urged Cena to support their club as Hotspur are “underdogs”.
