Pop star Taylor Swift could have an impact on Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid. The Frenchman is on the verge of joining the La Liga giants this summer after deciding against extending his contract, that runs until June this year.

Swift is all set to perform at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid on May 29 and 30 as part of her ‘Eras Tour’. GOAL suggests that Los Blancos could use the occasion to officially unveil Mbappe as a Real Madrid player.

The World Cup winner has revealed that he intends to sort his future out before the start of Euro 2024 on June 14, and Swift’s concert might just be the perfect opportunity for Real Madrid to showcase Mbappe as their player, with many big names set to be present at the stadium.

Those plans, however, could see a hinderance if PSG reach the Champions League final on 1 June, as unveiling Mbappe as a Real Madrid player would only happen after the Wembley showpiece, in that case.

Kylian Mbappe to leave PSG as a legend

No matter where he ends up, but Kylian Mbappe will perhaps go down in history as PSG’s greatest player. Joining in 2017 from AS Monaco, initially on a season-long loan, the Frenchman has bagged 251 goals from 299 games for the Parisians in all competitions, while registering another 106 assists. His blistering goalscoring exploits guided the capital side to 13 trophies, including five in Ligue 1. He will be hoping to depart by guiding PSG to their first ever Champions League title, which would be a fitting end to his glorious time in Paris.
