Highly rated Chelsea teenager decides to join Liverpool

Chelsea have suffered a massive blow with highly-rated youngster Rio Ngumoha set to join Liverpool. The 15-year-old has decided to leave the Blues’ academy and the Reds are set to break their wage structure with a massive offer for the teenager.

As per a report by Fabrizio Romano, Ngumoha has decided not to sign a deal at Chelsea. Today was the final day for the teenagers to pen the deals on their tables and the youngster has opted to leave.

Rio Ngumoha was a regular for the U18 side last season despite being just 15 years old. Apart from Liverpool, there were a number of other Premier League sides also interested in luring the youngster from Chelsea.
