Early life
On 28 July 1993, Harry Edward Kane was born, in Walthamstow, London, to Kim and Patrick Kane. Later, the family moved to Chingford, where he did his schooling at Larkswood Primary Academy and Chingford Foundation School. From the early age of six Kane started playing football with Ridgeway Rovers.
However, he believes his sporting genes were inherited from his mother’s side, especially his granddad Eric. As most of his was in London he became an ardent Spurs fan and idolized Teddy Sheringham while admiring the likes of David Beckham, Jermain Defoe, and Brazil’s Ronaldo.
Youth years
His youth career began at Ridgeway Rovers, while also having a brief spell at Arsenal’s academy, and after trials at Watford managed to settle at Tottenham Hotspur at age 11. Starting as a midfielder, he gained all the attention after a growth spurt. In the 2008-09 season, he began playing youth tournaments, leading to a scholarship with Tottenham.
Kane excelled in the following year, scoring 18 goals in 22 matches for Tottenham’s under-18s and appearing on the first-team bench twice. The first professional contract was not far away and in July 2010, he was loaned to Leyton Orient, scoring five goals in 18 matches. However, destiny brought him back to Tottenham, and in a Europa League match in August 2011 he scored his first goal in December against Shamrock Rovers.
The Rise
For more game time and development, Kane was loaned to Millwall, Norwich City, and Leicester City. At Millwall, he netted nine goals in 27 matches and even won Young Player of the Year. Later in August 2012, Kane made his Premier League debut for Tottenham his breakthrough year came 2013-14 season, when he first Premier League goal in April 2014, and the rest is history.

A record-breaking season lay ahead for Kane, after scoring his 100th goal for Tottenham achieving 39 Premier League goals in a calendar year, and breaking Tottenham’s Premier League scoring record. This was enough to bag his fourth consecutive PFA Team of the Year spot while also signing a contract extension until 2024.
After becoming Tottenham’s top scorer in European competitions and playing in the Champions League final despite an ankle injury his struggles continued till 2020, but he returned strong post-COVID-19 hiatus and in the 2020-21 season, Kane won his third Golden Boot with 23 goals and also grabbed the best playmaker award with 14 assists.
A need for a new challenge and a trophy strolled inside the mind of the striker but still in 2021-22, Kane broke records for goal-scoring partnerships with Son Heung-min. And the following season, he became Tottenham’s all-time top scorer, finishing the season with 30 Premier League goals. Amid interest from Bayern Munich, Kane left Tottenham after a pre-season game in Germany.

Harry Kane became the most expensive Bundesliga signing after moving to Bayern Munich on a four-year contract at €100m plus €10m bonuses in August 2023. His debut was not so memorable with a a 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig. Kane scored his first goal and assisted on the Bundesliga opening day against Werder Bremen winning 4-0 win. His first brace came a few weeks later, against FC Augsburg, and his 300th career goal was accomplished in September in a 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen.
Kane scored his first Champions League goal for the club on 20th September and his first hat-trick followed for Bayern against VfL Bochum. His international career began with England’s youth teams, scoring three goals in six games for the U-17s and six goals in 14 appearances for the U-19s. He was an integral part of the U-20 squad for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup and debuted for the U-21s in 2013, even scoring a hat-trick against San Marino in the 2015 UEFA U-21 Championship qualification.
Now he was Kane all set to make his senior England and it happened on March 2015, where in just 80 seconds after coming on as a substitute, he scored. The 2018 FIFA World Cup saw Kane captain his side winning the Golden Boot with six goals, and returning home with a fourth-place finish. England’s UEFA Nations League campaign was not so notable but still, he played his part similar to the EURO 2016.

Harry Kane has been with his childhood friend Katie Goodland and even said to Esquire, “We went to school together, so she’s seen my whole career. It’s a bit surreal for her, especially since she’s even been mentioned in the papers a few times, walking the dogs.” Kane announced their engagement on Twitter in July 2012, and in June 2019, the couple got married.
The pair have four children two girls and two boys. Finally, two Labrador named Brady and Wilson, named after NFL quarterbacks, joined the big family,

His football contract is worth at least £86.4 million over four years and his property portfolio said to be worth more than £13 million, while his company HK28 has assets of £10.2 million and is up by £1.2 million over the past year.
