Fulham’s Rayan Cherki dilemma continues to gather heat
As per ‘Evening Standard‘, Premier League club Fulham agreed upon a fee in the region of £17 million with Ligue 1 side Lyon to sign attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki.
It looked like Cherki would be the other player that the Cottagers would be adding to their squad amidst the arrival of Sander Berge and Joachim Anderson from Burnley and Crystal Palace respectively.
However, things hit a bit of a roadblock on Marco Silva’s side pursuit for Rayan Cherki as ‘One Football‘ laid out that the attacking midfielder is ‘not interested’ in a move to Fulham.
So, as it turns out despite Fulham agreeing upon a transfer fee with Lyon, due to the 21-year-old French player’s reluctance a transfer hasn’t materialized yet. It remains to be seen if Cherki does change his mind before the window closes.
