Fulham send new bid to Arsenal for Emile Smith-Rowe with the player keen on move: Report

Premier League club Fulham has sent a new bid to Arsenal for midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe. The London-based club has been reportedly eager to sign the player in this summer transfer window, however, their earlier bids were rejected by the Gunners.

Football transfer market expert – ‘Fabrizio Romano’, has now enlisted that the Cottagers have put forward a fresh bid circulating in the region of £35 million to land Simth-Rowe. The report further signifies that Arsenal’s midfielder is keen on the move and the formal talks are still ongoing between both the London neighbours.

Fulham’s league rival Crystal Palace are also interested in Emile Smith-Rowe, but Marco Silva’s side are depicted to be currently way ahead in the race. Meanwhile, it is postulated that the reason behind Smith-Rowe being open to this move is the fact that he is excited to have the opportunity to be involved in more first-team on-field action, a thing which he was denied last campaign while representing Arsenal.

While Mikel Arteta has signaled that there were certain things going at the ‘background’ that pushed the team’s hierarchy to not play the 23-year-old midfielder, a lot still remains to ponder upon Smith-Rowe’s sudden exile from the Gunners’ first-team playing eleven plans.

If a Fulham move does materialize for the United Kingdom-born player, it could well be the beginning of a new chapter in his career. His current contract at Arsenal expires on June 2026. Last season he played 13 games for them in the Premier League, registering two assists.
