Fulham match Manchester United’s ask for Scott McTominay
EPL side Fulham have reportedly matched Manchester United’s asking bid of around 30 million Euros for 27-year-old midfielder Scott McTominay.
There has been strong interest in the Scottish player throughout this transfer window from fellow EPL club Fulham and Serie A side Napoli. But, as per reports, Napoli can only afford a loan deal for the player while Fulham have now “matched” Manchester United’s expectations.
Scott McTominay has been a part of Manchester United’s senior side since 2017, playing a chunk of their matches with consistency over the past few seasons. However, with Erik ten Hag’s mission to reinforce the midfield and sign new players, McTominay is expected to move out in the coming days.
Both Fulham and Napoli are desperately wishing to sign Scott McTominay. Fulham had previously bid multiple times for the player, but couldn’t match the asking price. Now, with a bid fulfilling Manchester United’s needs, their target looks achievable. However, McTominay had previously agreed on personal terms with Napoli.
