Top 5 Best FPL Goalkeepers to pick in GW26
Rank | Player | Club | Price | Points | GW26 Opponents |
1 | David Raya | Arsenal | £5.5m | 100 points | West Ham |
2 | Kepa Arrizabalaga | Bournemouth | £4.6m | 67 points | Wolves |
3 | Matz Sels | Nottingham Forest | £5.0m | 110 points | Newcastle |

5 | Antonin Kinsky | Spurs | £4.5m | 12 points | Ipswich Town |
5. Antonin Kinsky – Spurs | 12 points | £4.5m

The initial two matches that Antonin Kinsky played were against Liverpool and Arsenal. Although that may appear to be considerable pressure for a 21-year-old, the Czech goalkeeper, however, seems to possess stronger resolve. Recently acquired by Tottenham in January after making an impression with Slavia Prague in the Europa League, Kinsky is an excellent shot-stopper and ball handler. He utilized these attributes effectively as he maintained a clean sheet on his debut against Liverpool. The question now is that with Guglielmo Vicario reportedly back, has Kinsky done enough to secure his spot? With this week’s rival Ipswich Town struggling in the Premier League, he could serve as an excellent differential. It is crucial, however, to be mindful that Spurs are currently very vulnerable defensively given their long injury list.
4. Emiliano Martinez – Aston Villa | 69 points | £5.0m

Regarding clean sheets, the current Premier League season has not been very kind to Emiliano Martinez thus far, and as a result, his Fantasy Premier League points have also been affected. Nonetheless, when the pressure is high, there is likely no one better. The Argentine goalkeeper will aim to reproduce that performance in the club season once more. Aston Villa has displayed inconsistency, and during these times, they require a player of Emi Martinez’s caliber to rise to the occasion. The Argentine typically thrives when situations are tough, so in the upcoming matches, he is expected to deliver an impressive performance. This weekend, Villa faces a potentially challenging game against Chelsea. Martinez has recorded only 3 clean sheets but has made 66 saves.
3. Matz Sels – Nottingham Forest | 110 points | £5.0m

Matz Sels is a remarkable goalkeeper, and it seems he has raised his performances to a completely new level. He has produced some astonishing displays recently as Nottingham Forest has succeeded in staying within the European spots. He has accumulated a total of 83 saves, regularly rescuing his team. Expect the same this weekend, when they take on Newcastle. Sels is also coming off a significant recent performance where he saved Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup against Exeter City, and if this pattern persists, it will lead to more points in Fantasy Premier League for Sels, who is already having an exceptional season.
2. Kepa Arrizabalaga – Bournemouth | 67 points | £4.6m

Kepa Arrizabalaga remains the priciest goalkeeper in the history of football. However, during his time at Chelsea or even at Real Madrid, he never fully adapted, and we never truly witnessed his top performances. This, however, appears to be prominently showcased now at Bournemouth. The Spanish goalkeeper seems to have discovered a new home under Spanish manager Andoni Iraola and is exhibiting his peak form. He has already achieved 5 clean sheets this season and will be eager to contribute another to the tally against the incredibly inconsistent and faltering Wolves this weekend. Kepa could put up a really strong showing.
1. David Raya – Arsenal | 100 points | £5.5m

David Raya is considered one of the top goalkeepers in the Premier League. He is outstanding at preventing shots and is also remarkable for his skill in distributing the ball. The Spanish goalkeeper started the season as the leading scorer among goalkeepers, but as Arsenal’s performance worsened, he faced challenges. However, Raya is a player who reliably delivers strong performances and makes few errors. This week, Arsenal is set to face West Ham. As for Raya, he has recorded 9 clean sheets and has completed 61 saves in the Premier League up to now.
As we turn our attention to Gameweek 26, the Premier League has a thrilling set of fixtures lined up. The highlight of the weekend is the game between Liverpool and Manchester City. Any other season, this would be a title decider but City are miles off this season. They could however massively help Arsenal and hurt Liverpool in the title race.
The deadline for GW26 is on 22nd February.
