While there is an abundance of online fantasy football games, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is recognized as the most popular choice, offering fans a chance to compete against friends and opponents worldwide. How to play the Fantasy Premier League
The main goal of the Fantasy Premier League is to gather as many points as you can during the 2024-25 season.
From your selection of 15 players, you must choose a starting XI for each “Gameweek,” with points awarded based on their performances in those matches.
Although you have the freedom to choose any formation, your team must always consist of one goalkeeper, at least three defenders, and at least one forward.
It’s essential to arrange your substitute players on the bench since the game automatically substitutes a benched player if one of your starting XI is absent in a specific game week.
You also need to select a captain and a vice-captain before each game week. The captain earns double points, while the vice-captain acts as a backup if your captain does not play, with the double points then awarded to the vice-captain.
Upon registering, you will automatically enter several “general leagues,” including a fan league linked to the team you support, a country league, a “Gameweek” league based on when you signed up, and a total league.
Additionally, you have the chance to establish an invitational mini-league, whether in a classic or head-to-head format, allowing you to compete with friends and family.
Alongside the typical league format, FPL teams participate in the cup competition, the start date of which is based on the total number of players involved.
Although there are no strict restrictions on when you can set up your team, fairness is ensured by permitting only one team per individual.
