Everton’s striker turns down new contract at the club amidst Man United links: Reports

As reported by ‘TEAMtalk’, and further backed by ‘BBC’, Everton’s striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has turned down a new and fresh contract proposal by the Merseyside club. Calvert-Lwein’s current contract with Toffees expires in June 2025.

The reports had it that the England international wants an exit from Everton and doesn’t want to extend his stay. The club that is been listed as interested in the 27-year-old forward, is Toffees’ league rivals – Man United. However, nothing official has come out in terms of the Red Devils approaching the player as of now.

In his 32 appearances last Premier League campaign for Everton, he managed seven goals and two assists. Calvert-Lewin wasn’t in his best of forms throughout the season. Whether Man United pursues their interest in the player, remains to be seen.
