Everton rejects Man United’s second bid for Jarrad Branthwaite
As per football transfer market expert ‘Fabrizio Romano’, Premier League club Everton has rejected Man United‘s improved second bid for star defender Jarrad Branthwaite. Romano inserts that United’s proposal was worth about £45 million plus an additional £5 million (as add-ons). But the offer is still considered to be short by Everton’s hierarchy as they see the 22-year-old center-back in the category of top center-backs going around.
The Red Devils have been consistently linked with the English-born player. It is being mentioned by several reports that he is one of their top priority targets in the ongoing summer transfer window. United have earlier seen their initial bid which was significantly lower than their second and improved bid for Jarrad Branthwaite rejected by Everton also. It remains to be seen whether the Old Trafford-based club will push further to sign the center-back or not.
