Eric Garcia linked with a return to Girona

Barcelona defender Eric Garcia has been linked with a move to Girona where he spent the last season on loan. With less than a week left in the summer transfer window, Girona are reportedly working to re-sign the Spanish defender.

Earlier this season, Garcia expressed his desire to stay at Barcelona but the club’s dire financial situation means he could be sold in the next few days. He wants to fight for his place in Hansi Flick’s setup but his departure would help the club in registering summer signing Dani Olmo.

Many reports suggest that Girona are closing in a €15 million deal for the Barcelona centre-back.
