Crystal Palace plotting a move for Chelsea outcast Raheem Sterling
The Eagles are among several European clubs who have taken an interest in Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling. The England international has been exiled from the first-team squad by new manager Enzo Maresca and Chelsea want to offload him before the transfer window shuts.
The former Man City and Liverpool winger desperately wants to prolong his stay in the Premier League, which has alerted several English clubs including Crystal Palace. The Eagles are desperate to sign a winger after losing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich this summer.
But, his wages could be a major stumbling block as Sterling takes home around Β£300,000 a week at Chelsea.
