Conor Gallagher advised by Kieran Trippier to join Atletico Madrid this summer

Atletico Madrid are keen on securing a deal for England midfielder Conor Gallagher to bolster their midfield options ahead of the 2024/25 La Liga campaign. The England international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for a while now.

Chelsea are reportedly seeking close to €50m for the 24-year-old who only has one year left on his Blues contract. Gallagher has been reportedly advised by his England teammate Kieran Trippier to move to Spain.

Trippier himself starred under Diego Simeone in the Spanish capital.

Tactically speaking, a player like Gallagher would surely be a great fit for Diego Simeone’s brand of football and Chelsea would surely be open to a lower offer for the England international.
