Chelsea terminate contract with outcast Malang Sarr

French defender Malang Sarr, who was signed on a free transfer from FC Porto in a five-year deal was outcasted for the entire 2023/24 campaign by former manager Mauricio Pochettino. Sarr has made only 21 appearances for the Blues since his arrival in 2020.

The 25-year-old who was reportedly earning £100,00-a-week has now parted ways with Chelsea and is set to join Ligue 1 side RC Lens on a free transfer. According to the reports, Sarr will pen a two-year contract with the French club.

Sarr is relatively young and could get his career back on track with RC Lens.
