Chelsea make initial transfer approach for Filip Jorgensen

The Blues have made contact with Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen to address their goalkeeper issue. New manager Enzo Maresca is not entirely convinced that Roberto Sanchez is good enough to be their undisputed no.1 shot-stopper.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have made an approach for Filip Jorgensen who is reportedly keen on a move to Stamford Bridge this summer. The Blues have also been linked with Mads Hermansen who worked with coach Enzo Maresca last season.

Jorgensen has managed to keep six clean sheets in his 36 league appearances for the Yellow Submarine last season and came through the Villarreal academy.
