Chelsea struggling to offload Raheem Sterling this summer
The England international has been the subject of interest in the last few days since Serie A giants Juventus took an interest in the 29-year-old winger. Sterling’s move to Chelsea in the summer of 2022 has not quite worked out and is one of the many struggling players on their roster.
The former Man City winger has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists for the Blues in 81 appearances and was not part of Gareth Southgate’s squad in Euro 2024.
Juventus are keen to add Sterling to their attacking ranks, but his mammoth wages are proving to be a stumbling block for any move this summer. He is Chelsea’s highest-earner alongside Romelu Lukaku, who has also been linked with an exit.
