Chelsea Reveals Controversial New Kit and Announces BingX Partnership
Chelsea fans eagerly await the new home and away kits for the 2024/25 season as the club announces a fresh partnership with BingX which is a cryptocurrency exchange company. This move comes amid a delay in the release of the new matchday kits.
BingX Partnership: A New Chapter for Chelsea
Chelsea have confirmed BingX as their new training wear sponsor for the next two seasons. This partnership marks the continuation of their relationship which began earlier this year when BingX became the club’s sleeve sponsor.
The expectation was that BingX would take over from Trivago as the primary partner for the training kits and this has now been officially announced.
The new training kit designed by Nike includes three shirts, shorts, and long-sleeve tops. Speaking about this new phase, Chelsea’s chief revenue officer, Casper Stylsvig, expressed excitement:
“The first six months working together has already seen us deliver a series of world-class campaigns and initiatives, and we are excited at the challenge of going bigger and bolder in the upcoming season.”
New signing Marc Guiu was even pictured in the new training kit showcasing the fresh designs. However, fans are still waiting for the official release of the home and away kits for the upcoming season.
Controversial Home Kit Design Leaked
Chelsea’s new home kit for the 2024/25 season has been a hot topic among fans. The design which features a wavy water-like pattern with lighter blue splashes and orange outlines has divided opinions. Some fans have compared it to the outlandish 2021/22 design while others prefer the more basic kits from recent seasons.
The wait for the new kits has been frustrating for fans especially as the club prepares for their pre-season tour of America without them. Last season fans could not purchase the new kits until mid-August just before the Premier League season started. The home shirt was also sold without a sponsor for nearly a month before the deal with Infinite Athlete was completed.
A recent leak on TikTok where a promotional video of the new kit was briefly posted and then deleted by JD Sports has added to the excitement and speculation. The video showed a model unveiling the new kit giving fans a glimpse of what to expect.
As Chelsea continues to search for a long-term primary sponsor the excitement and anticipation for the new kits grow. Fans hope that the club will soon make an official announcement allowing them to show their support in the new season’s colours.
Chelsea’s partnership with BingX and the controversial new kit design have sparked much discussion among fans. As the club heads into the new season the anticipation for the official kit release continues to build.
Chelsea supporters eagerly await the moment they can proudly wear the new designs and cheer their team on in the 2024/25 campaign.
